What is Labiaplasty?

What are the Benefits of Labiaplasty?

 

There are many benefits, including improved comfort while you exercise, engage in sexual activity, and while wearing tight clothing and underwear.  You may find that chafing and irritation is reduced, and confidence is increased.

This procedure certainly is beneficial physically and functionally, but the benefits extend to feeling more comfortable in your body and more confident about the appearance of one of the most intimate areas of your body. What to Expect with Labiaplasty?

 

Typically, patients can expect to heal after around two weeks when the swelling and bruising goes down. Apply a cold compress or ice pack over the treated area (if needed) to minimize inflammation. You should not have sexual activity or use tampons for at least 6 weeks following your procedure. Patients generally notice visible results in six weeks and final results about six months following the procedure. he outcome is long lasting, however, natural aging, significant weight fluctuations, and childbirth can impact your result.

Aviva is a non-surgical alternative to a labiaplasty that can be done in the office. Through a tiny incision point, radiofrequency heat is used to cause tissue contraction of the labia. Final reduction in size is apparent in 12 weeks.
